Change any text displayed by Acajoom

First, you can modify any single sentence that will be displayed by Acajoom into your own language file . This is the easiest way to personalize the messages displayed by Acajoom. You can find all the language files in the folder : "Joomla / Administrator / Components / com_acajoom / language", edit your own language file and modify it.

For example, in the English language file, you will find on line 472 the sentence 'Please register to the site before you can sign for a list' that you can personalize.

Change the colour of Acajoom messages

To customize all our messages (colour...), you can edit the file 'class.acajoom.php' that you will find in the folder 'Joomla / administrator / components / com_acajoom / classes' and change what you want from the line 46.

You will be able to edit the colour, the picture, the font or even delete the message if you don't want it to appear on your website.

For example, if you want to delete the green colour of the confirmation message, you can edit the line 79 :
case 'green':
        $colored_message = '<span style="font-weight: bold; color:#07C500;">' . $message . '</span>';
        break;
And replace it by :
case 'green':
        $colored_message = '<span>' . $message . '</span>';
        break;

On Joomla 1.0.x :

Edit the file joomla.php from the folder "Joomla / includes".
On line 3704 you should find the code :
$style = 'style="text-decoration: none; color: #333;"';
You can modify the colour (#333) by anything you want.

On Joomla 1.5.x :

Edit the file html.php from the folder 'Joomla / Libraries / Joomla / html'.
On line 256 you should find the code :
$style = 'style="text-decoration: none; color: #333;"';
