With Acajoom Plus or PRO, when you schedule a Newsletter, when you have Autoresponders or SmartNewsletters, Acajoom will queue all your e-mails. That means Acajoom will keep all your e-mails that need to be sent in the database to make sure Acajoom will send all of them even if an error occurs (time out or server limitation).

This is a very powerful system but you have to configure it a little bit...

Your cron task will automatically launch your Acajoom component every X minutes (every 15 minutes with www.joobisoft.com) so Acajoom will be able to do what needs to be done! If there is some AutoResponders in the queue, Acajoom will send it. If there is some Scheduled Newsletters in the queue, Acajoom will send it. If there is a SmartNewsletter that needs to be generated, Acajoom will generate it. And for the PRO Version, Acajoom will even optimize your database every 24 hours (by default)! But depending on what is in the queue, Acajoom won't be able to send all your e-mails. Acajoom will only send some e-mails (between 10 and 150 depending on your configuration) and will stop its process until the next cron task launch Acajoom again. So if you configure your cron task on your end, don't forget to launch Acajoom several times per days!

First, you have to configure your cron task , and that's very easy if you use our own free service on www.joobisoft.com!

Then, you have to configure the scheduler tab in your own Acajoom component (Acajoom configuration page,tab : 'Scheduler').

For that, there is only two parameters : The 'Scheduler max frequency' and the 'Maximum e-mails per task'.

The field 'Scheduler max frequency' is a security so all the queue process in Acajoom can not be launched more often than the parameter in this field. This field must have the same value than the frequency of your own cron task. If you created a cron task on www.joobisoft.com with a frequency '15 minutes', you have to set the 'Scheduler max frequency' = 15 minutes as well. If your cron task is set up every 5 minutes and you configured the 'Scheduler max frequency' with 15 minutes, the automatic Acajoom process will be really launched every 15 minutes. It's a simple security, nothing more.
The value of the 'Scheduler max frequency' must be at least equal to 2 minutes. Please don't configure it every 1 minute if you don't send less than 50 e-mails per task. 

The field 'Maximum e-mails per task' will allow you to configure the number maximum of e-mails that Acajoom is allowed to send per task. To optimize the Acajoom process, we highly don't recommend to configure this field to send less than 20 e-mails or more than 150 e-mails (no more than 80 e-mails if you use an SMTP Server as it's slower).

Those two fields will allow you to go through any server limitation!
