The first most important field to configure the header of each e-mail is in your Acajoom configuration page and called 'From Email' (in the 'Mail' tab). This field will define the Sender e-mail address for all your e-mails!

This is a very important field because most of mail servers will only allow you to send e-mails if this 'From Email' is in the same domain than your own mail server (especially for an SMTP Server!)

e.g. : This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it to send e-mails from the site www.acajoom.com.

All bounced back e-mails (all responds from your server if an e-mail has not been delivered) will be sent to this e-mail address. Nevertheless, your users will never see it! This e-mail address won't appear directly in the e-mail if a user opens your Newsletter, it's only used on the server side.

Once you specified this field and you made sure you could send e-mails (a test Newsletter for example), you will be able to send any other e-mail!

You can see Sender informations in each List and for each e-mail (Newsletter, SmartNewsletter, AutoResponder).

The Sender informations in each lists are used to configure your confirmation e-mail (if you send it).

The Sender informations in each e-mail are used to configure the e-mail itself.

The field 'Sender Name' will be used to show the name of the Sender and the name for the Reply-To in the e-mail the user will receive.

The field 'Sender Email' will be used to set the Sender e-mail address in the e-mail.

The field 'Sender Bounce Address' will be used to set the Reply-To address in the e-mail.

So, to configure your confirmation e-mail, fill the Sender informations in each list (edit a list and you will find it at the bottom of the tab 'Description' ).

And to configure your Newsletter (and Autoresponder or SmartNewsletter), fill the Sender informations in the Newsletter itself (edit your Newsletter and you will find it in the tab 'Description' ).

If your configuration doesn't work as specified here, you should probably upgrade your Acajoom component!
