Acajoom 1.0.7 ... striving for stability and robustness |

A new Acajoom News version is available. We have been re-factoring a lot of code to make it more stable and robust. We are not quite were we would like to be however we are getting there step by step.
Please note that we have created a new board "Bug report for Acajoom 1.0.7" in the forum so that we can support you better in fixing new issues.
It is impossible for us to test every single feature on all possible configuration however we did test most of the feature on standard configuration with latest Joomla 1.0.11 and we had a beta version available for over a week. So this release should be pretty stable.
We implemented some SEF support and OpenSEF should now work with Acajoom.
Acajoom has also a new logo, as you may have already noticed on the main site. The logo has been designed by George Jones (http://www.gaboink.com/).
UPGRADE PROCEDURE! Due to new design it is not possible to upgrade through the auto-update feature in Acajoom. so you have to uninstall the old version and install Acajoom 1.0.7 through the standard Joomla installation procedure.
If you made some modification to the language files please backup your files first. However you need to had the new language to your language file. As Acajoom is growing it is also learning some new vocabulary ;-)
YOU HAVE TO RE-INSTALL THROUGH THE COMPONENT INSTALLER YOU CAN'T JUST COPY OVER THE FILES BECAUSE NEW PARAMETERS NEED TO BE UPDATED IN THE CONFIGURATION.
When upgrading to Acajoom 1.0.7, MAKE SURE YOU UPDATE THE MODULE , THE MAMBOT AND THE INTEGRATION WITH CB IF YOU HAVE ONE. As said before we re-factored lots of stuff and the old module and manbot won't work with new release. This install should take care of installing the new module but just in case you have a problem make sure you check that you have the latest module and mambot.
