This is exactly what I have been looking for!! I just launched my new re-design from Nuke to Joomla website last night and was going to send a newsletter but was having a terrible time with all the other systems (Yanc, letterman, etc.) I saw this today, tryed it out. It is by far the best and most integrated component with auto import of CB/Joomla existing members, HTML, and the features go on... Thank You very much Chris!! Luke Ross |
By far the best newsletter component available and actually raises the bar significantly for component design overall (other component developers should check out the install process, wizard assistance, complete tooltip explanations, etc). It also seems everything you could want in terms of functionality and flexibility has been thought of and then implemented in the simplest and most effective way. That this quality of solution is freely available is quite amazing. Apart from a lot of gratitude for all the thought and work put into this, I think the developer will obtain excellent commercial prospects for future joomla projects. Well done! |
I have used other Newsletter Components and this is the best so far. Easy installation (and complete), and a nice interface. The wizard is a great touch and is automatically available upon installation. The wizard disappears after you create a few newsletters, or when you turn it off in the config panel. I also had to optimize the tables via phpmyadmin on my server but that is a 30 second fix to speed things up. It would be a welcome addition to any joomla site! |

What an excellent component. I have already used it on 2 customer sites. No doubt I will be using it on more. |

I have been playing with just about every newsletter and/or subscription extention available for months. I was just settling on Letterman (after struggling with inconsistencies in Anjel) when this popped up as HOT on the list. So...I though what the heck, give it a try. WOW!!! This program is great to say the least. It has fewer glitches than all of the others put together. There are a few tweaks it could use, but all in all...it is too cool to just write about...you need to try it. You will not be disappointed. |

well done and easy to use too! I only had to tweak the .css a little bit but it works right out of the box. Easy to understand and looks great too. Thanks you |

I was using yanc for some time now, until i saw this component in the "New Extensions" pages. I think it has many functions for a component that was released a couple of days ago. The most... and i mean most wonderful feature is that when you create a new mailing list, you can select if you want to subscribe ALL the existing joomla users... so no need to import large lists anymore, because the newsletter component can use the joomla user tables... it's just plain great.... The rest of the features are similur to yanc, with one difference that there is a sort of content tag generator, so that you can easyaly put content items inside the newsletters without knowing the ID numbers of the articles.... There a a few strange bugs though, but the developers have promised to fix them, we have to wait for 1 week.... until the news release comes out.... |

Chris brought out 1.01 within a week of the 1.0 launch. I think it's the best list management component available. The main thing I like is the "auto-subscribe" at registration, including Community Builder registration. Recommended, and expected to continue improving... |
