Add an image into an email

This tutorial will show you how to insert an image into an email.

You have to know that if you attach an image into your email, his weight will increase and also your span score. Moreover, it's not comfortable for the user to download the image especially if he has a speed dial connection.

The best solution is to send a text email because it's compatible for all of email clients but it's very basic. The alternative way is to send your email in HTML by including an inline CSS and some images by an url.

Installation errors

During the installation, Acajoom will create folders and add files in the following folders :

Joomla / Administrator / Components /
Joomla / Components /
Joomla / Modules /
Joomla / Plugins / (only if you use Joomla 1.5)
Joomla / Mambots / (only if you use Joomla 1.0)

Those folders must be writeable otherwise Acajoom won't be able to install the component or finish properly the install process.
