creating new css classes through Content Bot - 2008/07/19 04:12 Hello, I am new to Acajoom. I just upgraded to Acajoom Plus yesterday and am getting ready to send out my first bulk email. So far I am very happy with the ease of use of this component.

My question is on how to add more classes to be automatically replaced. I read the documentation on this page http://www.acajoom.com/content/view/7863/93/
however it is still not clear to me all I need to do. What other files do I need to change besides acajoombot.xml to create a new class.

For example, I would like to be able to add padding around images through the Content Bot. Please if someone will elaborate and clarify what I need to do I would really appreciate it.

Re:creating new css classes through Content Bot - 2008/07/21 22:24 Hello,

You only edit the acajoombot.xml (<joomla>/mambots(or)plugins/acajoom/).

So you add your own class like : class_myclass

Then, when to go you the configuration of the bot (mambot/plugin), you'll see a new field which corresponding to your class. So, you add your own css style.

Finally, you can write your email in the editor with your class.
It'll be replace by the CSS when you'll send the email.

Re:creating new css classes through Content Bot - 2008/07/22 00:25 I take it then we just add the class manually by working the html through my wysiwyg? just changing that xml file just creates the class, it does not tell acajoom what to apply it to.

Re:creating new css classes through Content Bot - 2008/07/22 22:33 Hello,

Add your class into the XML file and write it through your WYSIWYG editor.
But before writing, don't forget to configure the CSS of the mambot/plugin. Go to the menu :

* Joomla 1.0.x : Mambots > Site Mambots
* Joomla 1.5.x : Extensions > Plugin manager
