images showing in some browsers but not others - 2008/07/16 23:41 Hello,

I am using Acajoom News with Joomla 1.5.2. I have just started sending out test emails. I followed the directions to copy and past the URL of the images, however so far no matter what, the images appear in some browsers (Firefox on Mac but now Windows, not Safari, not IE, but yes when I download to a Mail Client) but not in others. Any ideas why this is happening?

Thank you,
Sita

Do you mean a link to newsletter archives? I have not figured out how to create an archive yet.

Re:images showing in some browsers but not others - 2008/07/17 00:31 No, just the url of your web site.

If you define "visible" in the list settings, you can see it at http://www.yourdomain.com/index.php?option=com_acajoom

Re:images showing in some browsers but not others - 2008/07/17 01:26 Ok, so the URL is www.onewithheart.com

but when I look at the archives on the site there is no problems anywhere.

also this morning, now for some reason SOME of the images are showing up in my email safari, but not all. i thought the problem was with absolute or relative urls, but i am using absolute urls everywhere and have double checked the html. I can even download the image, but when i look at it in my email it's just a box with a question mark

(solved) Re:images showing in some browsers but not others - 2008/07/17 02:42 Ok, we figured it out. it was a remote linking block that had been installed previously that was effecting everything. thanks for your time!
