acajoom plus quit working - 2008/07/16 22:46
I love Acajoom Plus but I broke it. Or more accurately, the new site management volunteers who know a lot more about Joomla than I do broke it.
Emails were going out like clockwork until 1:40 July13. Then it just quit.
What I know of what has been going on is there was a change to the htaccess. All of Joomla used to have a url of diabetic-diet-secrets.com/members.
/members/ has been removed from all URLs with Joomla still in it’s own folder. No clue how they did that. But it is resulting in better seo and a big increase in site traffic. (from 6,000-8,000) page loads per day to close to double or more.
I know htaccess was changed but I do not know how it was changed.
During the upgrade of the site the community builder registration quit working because of a conflict with OpenSEF which has been installed for a long time.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Anyone highly knowledgeable about acajoom willing to take a look at it would be even more appreciated.
