ad hoc newsletter scheduling - 2008/07/05 16:10 Hello

Is it possible to configure a smart newsletter so that instead of following a pre-set schedule (daily, biweekly, etc), a mailing is sent only when there are new articles in a category/section? Consequently the mailing would be triggered on a irregular basis, not a scheduled basis.

When you create a S.N, there's a tab called Smart-Newsletter. Click on it.

Then, you can select the frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, etc...)

So, the smart newsletter is regularly sent according to the frequency that you configured. Also, it sent only new articles. *** Please, read our official documentation before posting. Thank you ***

Just wanted to confirm, as I wasn't sure if there was an option to send out an email only when a new article was published, as opposed to on a scheduled basis.
