SOLVED - Install problems - 2008/07/03 20:10
Hi,
I'm trying out the Acajoom Free module, but I experience a problem. When I install Acajoom a blank page shows in the admin. No error reports or something. If I push the refresh button it will shows the following error.
* Component Install: Another Component is already using directory: "/chroot/home/juwelie1/juweliervanderploeg.nl/html/components/com_acajoom"
* Component Install: Another Component is already using directory: "/chroot/home/juwelie1/juweliervanderploeg.nl/html/administrator/components/
com_acajoom"

When I check by ftp what Acajoom installed, it installed the following folders:
# Joomla / Administrator / Components /
# Joomla / Components /
The rest is not there.
When I want to uninstall the Acajoom component it shows itself only by name of the component (acajoom) , there is no info about author, version and date. When I uninstall Joomla there is also an error
* JInstaller::install: ERRORXMLSETUP
* If this Extension has created tables or installed additional files, they must be removed manually.

Im working with Joomla 1.5.3.
My legacy modus is on.
My system debug is also on.
I have used Acajoom before and installed it without any problem. I have tried some solutions but they all do not work. Can anybody help me?

. Like I said in the previous post the problem was caused through the database. My database was set to a memory limit of 8mb. This was not enough space to activate and install acajoom properly. I changed the memory limit from 8mb to 16mb with a .htacces file and the problem was solved.
