module not visible on - 2006/07/29 02:58 Hi
I'm looking forward to trying out Acajoom - it looks great- but I can't seem to get the module to appear on my front page. I'm fairly new to all this Joomla stuff but I've managed to install other stuff Ok so far.

I have published the module but it still doesn't show. I'm probably missing something really obvious but I don't know what it is. Any advice would be much appreciated..
thanks

Re:module not visible on - 2006/07/29 03:45 You need to select which page you want to show the module in:
Under the menu:
Pages / Items
Menu Item Link(s):

That should solve the problem

Re:module not visible on - 2006/08/01 11:12 This is a little trap that I managed to fall into too.

Most Joomla modules default to be set to show on all pages. Is there a reason you have done it this way?

Re:module not visible on - 2006/08/01 22:47 Yes, the reason is because the module is install automatically.

Make also sure that you specify the list(s) you want people to subscribe to
