Latest Subscribers Not Receiving Newsletters - 2008/06/24 08:32 We are using: Acajoom Plus 2.0.2

We have sent out four newsletters to a small test list. Each time, the latest subscribers (ie those who have subscribed since the previous newsletter was sent out), did not receive the newsletter (and were not included in the mailing report). However, they then receive all subsequent newsletters (but again, the lastest subscribers do not).

Mailing report does not show the subscribers. For example:

Subject: Acajoom mailing report

Time to send: 1,7553 seconds
Number of subscribers: 6
HTML format: 6
Text format: 0

However, at the time this was mailed out, there were 8 subscribers.

This is the previous report, when there were 6 subscribers:

Subject: Acajoom mailing report

Time to send: 2,3434 seconds
Number of subscribers: 5
HTML format: 5
Text format: 0
Details:

Al subscribers who the mailing report successfully confirmed had received the newsletter, did receive the newsletter. But, why are the most recent subscribers not being mailed to?

Please try to create a newsletter list.
Subscribe yourself (you can subscribe more people for the test)
Schedule a newsletter (5 min in the future for example)

Wait 5-10min

Go to the Acajoom configuration page.
Click on the button Process Queue

Melinda is my Web Guru so it is my site having the problem.

I did this test as you suggested and still the problem remains.

I removed the old newsletter, created a new newsletter and only the subscribers that I enrolled when created the newsletter are receiving the email. all new subscriobers are not recieving it. The settings are all as per your training guides for any new subscriber to automatically get it also but it does not.

As you can expect, this is frustrating.

What other suggestions do you have?

I thought that the last subscriber hadn't received the newsletter.

If you send a newsletter and if someone subscribes to the list after the sending process, it's normal he doesn't receive the last newsletter.

Re:Latest Subscribers Not Receiving Newsletters - 2008/07/01 06:12 They are people who have subscribed before the newsletter has been sent - but they are "new" subscribers - in that they were not subscribed when the mailing list was first created. All original subscribers are receiving the mail, but the new subscribers are not. Please see the report posted in the initial email - it only identifies 6 subscribers, when there were 7 and 8, and now 10 subscribers. The mail is still only sending to the the original 6.

This process is totally normal.

If you want that all of your subscribers receive the newsletter, you have to create the newsletter AFTER they're subscribed. *** Please, read our official documentation before posting. Thank you ***
