[SOLVED] Error on importing memberlist - 2008/03/19 17:28 Hello,

I am rather new here but i get an errormessage when I try to import a csv-file. even if I trie it with the example import-file i downloaded here.

The message i get is:
"Error with moving imported file
Warning: file_get_contents(/home/xxx/domains/xxxxx/public_html/components/com_acajoom/ uploadlist_import_example.csv) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/xxx/domains/xxxx/public_html/administrator/components/com_acajoom/classes/ class.subscribers.php on line 734"

Does anyone know this problem and find a fix for it?

Greetz and thanks in advance,

Bignose

Re:Error on importing memberlist - 2008/03/19 21:44 Same here:

Warning: file_get_contents(/home/www/xxx/web/sitev2/components/com_acajoom/ uploademails.txt) [function.file-get-contents]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/www/xxx/web/sitev2/administrator/components/com_acajoom/classes/ class.subscribers.php on line 734

On line 734 I just see this: "$import = file_get_contents($path . $filename);"
The filename of the text file I tried to import is "email.txt", encoding is UTF-8 and line end Unix LF.

Any idea? I have 327 members... a bit long to enter them one by one.

Thank you, Stéphane

Re:Error on importing memberlist - 2008/03/19 21:50 OK I resolved the problem. I uploded my text file with the name above mentionned, put it in the folder "components/com_acajoom/ " CHMOD it 777 and did the import again... success

All my members are now registered in Acajoom.

Have a nice day.

Re:Error on importing memberlist - 2008/03/20 00:22 You can have two problems to import users :
1/ Access rights on the import folder so Acajoom can not copy the import file
2/ A wrong path for the folder

So... two problems, two solutions!

1/ You should paste your file "main.csv" in the folder "upload" of Acajoom (Joomla -> Components -> com_acajoom -> upload)

2/ And modify the option "Upload/attachements path" in the Acajoom configuration page ("Mail" tab).
Actually, you should see :
/components/com_acajoom/upload
Please write :
/components/com_acajoom/upload/

And try again to import your users...
