Re:Overcoming hosting limitations - 2006/12/19 23:29 Yes and no. There is already a isntruction to keep working if the browser is closed. But again the server may interrupt the session if the browser is closed.

Once again Acajoom Plus is the solution for all those anoying problem that really depend of the hosting set up

right now I'm setting your acajoom on my portal, I'll do some trials and if all will be good I'll move all my sites under Joomla with JMS and sure I'll move into your Plus solution and/or donation to have a professional support

Please, I want ask you an answer about:

and want suggest you an idea (my opinion): my be just 1 full acajoom release, but a donation to have a year support and/or to use your server for sending email. In this sistem acajoom still will be GNU but your work/support paied

Use the free version but paid for support. Support is much more time comsuming than development. The support we offer with the current Acajoom Plus is really a gift for what you get.
Any kind of paid support system will go well over 40 Euros after just few questions. So I am not sure it is a viable plan but will be open to concret suggestions.

Regarding using our server to send email , it is something I thought about as well. I am not sure hwo to structure it yet and we will need Joomla 15 to implement such a solution as it will require a good communication between sites.

What about have Free Acajoom, but "paid/donation" support just as Forum access ?
