Subscribtion for news letter not working - 2007/06/10 17:53 Hello all,

I just installed the newest AcajoomPro 1.3.0 and I have the problem that nobody can subscribe a news letter.

I created a new list and public access for subscribe.
I published the mod and configured the list.
Now when I try to sign up I get the answer:
You cannot access this area. You have to logon.

Please advise me what Ihave to do?

Thank you.

Subscribtion for news letter not working - 2007/06/11 03:48 This message appears because in one of your menus, you have a restricted access to the Acajoom component.
To fix this problem, just accept all users for the Acajoom component in all of your menus.

Re:Subscribtion for news letter not working - 2007/06/13 05:26 Hi,

Thank you for your ideas, but I use the Subscriber Module for the Users. I published the Subscriber Module for everybody and everybody can sign for the letter.

What and where should I configure the Subscriber Module?

What do I wrong?

What are the best practise to publish the subscriber module?

Thank you for your help.

Re:Subscribtion for news letter not working - 2007/06/13 18:58 First, publish the Acajoom Suscriber Module
Joomla BackEnd -> Modules -> Site Modules -> Acajoom Suscriber Module -> Published = Yes

You can configure your Acajoom Suscriber Module in this same directory.
(Joomla BackEnd -> Modules -> Site Modules -> Acajoom Suscriber Module)

If you have this message:
You are not authorised to view this resource.
You need to login.

It's because in one of your menu, the Acajoom component (yes... the component!) has a restricted access.
For example, if I insert a new item (a link to the Acajoom component or the Acajoom component) in one of my menus and I select 'Access Level: Registered' to configure this item, your Acajoom Suscriber Module won't work.

Re:Subscribtion for news letter not working - 2007/06/14 05:30 Hi,

Thank you for your help. I could figure out the problem. As you told me I found a menu link wich was restricted toregistered user.

Now the module is working as I want.

Many thanks.

Re:Subscribtion for news letter not working - 2007/10/03 18:35 I also have a problem with Subscribe module. When I test with a registred user to Subscribe or change my subscription nothing is shown in the fields user, email and date.

The subcribe module seems not to recognise me as a user and the login fields always shows.

http://www.thema-tps.se is the website and the module is in the footer.
