Re:Joomla 1.5 compatible? - 2007/09/05 18:24 I'm seriously considering getting Acajoom PRO and trying it with Joomla 1.5.

You mention that you are looking forward to using the new Joomla 15 libraries and APIs. Does Acajoom PRO 1.4 use these or will there be another big release soon to take advantage of the new Joomla 1.5 features

Re:Joomla 1.5 compatible? - 2007/09/05 18:30 Acajoom PRO actually use (half of) the legacy system of Joomla 1.5 .

But at the same time, we are developing a really new component for Joomla 1.5 (all Acajoom users will be able to upgrade to this component for free if they purchased the maintenance) to take advantage of the new generation of web applications!

Re:Joomla 1.5 compatible? - 2007/09/05 18:49 That sounds very interesting. Do you have a timeframe in mind for this? Are we talking next week or 6 months?

Can you let us know what new features we can expect?

Re:Joomla 1.5 compatible? - 2007/09/05 18:57 More than half of the application is already done.
So you can expect this new application for the end of this year.

Actually we can not publish a feature list but at least, all Acajoom features will be included with a friendly interface for the user.

Re:Joomla 1.5 compatible? - 2007/12/01 21:22 Hi,

Do you have any Updates on the next Generation of Acajoom?
Will this Version already support Fields for the Firstname and Lastname of the Subscribers?

Thanks,
Mario

Re:Joomla 1.5 compatible? - 2007/12/03 02:02 Hi mariokrupik,
We have been delayed for the next generation of Acajoom. We will be able to release a beta version at the beginning of next year, not before.

With the new architecture, you will be able to produce modules with customized fields to subscribe users, so yes, this new generation will support fields for Firstname and Lastname.
Please check our official documentation and existing replies before posting on our forum!
