Re:How to import an existing list of subscribers - 2008/04/05 15:47 I am on Firefox, Mac OSX 10.5 Leopard. On import of my csv file I get error "Cannot write directory home2/recovery/public_html/components/com_acajoom/upload/"

Permissions are 777 on the upload folder.

Tried the trailing slash ../upload/ in config, manually uploading csv to upload folder via ftp, etc. No luck.

Can you assist? Also, a paste area to paste in email addys for fast population would be massive!!

Thanks

Re:How to import an existing list of subscribers - 2008/04/06 02:09 In Acajoom News 2.0.5, we wanted to avoid previous problems with the import feature (avoid that 10% of our users had to add a slash at the end of the path).
Apparently this change creates now problems for the other 90% of users!
Well, I changed it back to the previous way, you can download again Acajoom 2.0.5, uninstall the current version and install the downloaded one.
Please let me know if that works normally now.

Re:How to import an existing list of subscribers - 2008/04/24 12:27 I am trying to import a file of 120 names that is in a text CVS file. The file was created in OpenOfficeCalc and saved as a text csv

I keep getting email address not valid.

Column 1 First Name and Last Name eg Jane Doe
Column 2 email address eg JaneDoe@janedoe.com
Column 3 Receive HTML eg 1
Column 4 Confirmed eg 1

I also made sure the upload file path was correct as mentioned several times(copied and pasted right from the web site). I then go to subscribers, click on the import button, browse for my main.csv file, choose the newsletter and click the import button and get this message for each name it reads "JaneDoe@janedoe.com": The email entered is invalid.

So what am I missing here?
