How to import an existing list of subscribers - 2006/09/23 00:57 If you have existing subscribers that you want to import in Acajoom you have several solutions depending on what system you used prior to Acajoom.

* If you used Anjel, Letterman or YaNC use the respecting import feature in Acajoom that you will find into the update panel.

* If you want to automatically subscriber users from your Joomla install use the option available in the Subscription tab when you create a new List.

* If you want to import a list of subscribers from an excel file or anyother mailing system you need to use the import features:
It needs to be a csv or txt file
The format should be:
Name,email@email.com,receiveHTML(1/0),confirmed(1/0)

I think you're getting confused. Importing and updating are two completely different things. Based on what you said I think you tried to update acajoom through the update page and recieved an error? If that is the case usually the 'limitations of your server' involve the acajoom file permissions not allowing the files to be overwritten with the updated files. See this post for more update info:
