1/ With Joomla : Users can be automatically subscribed to your list when they register to your site. Check all your lists, you have an option to automatically subscribe a new user if this user register to your site (in tab 'subscription').
2/ From the Acajoom module, a user will be subscribed to all lists included in the module, hidden or not. You should check the field 'list id' in the Acajoom module. If you have the value '0' in this field, that means a user will be subscribed to all your Acajoom lists if they are not showed on the module + all Acajoom lists checked on the module. If you want a user to be subscribed to only 1 or 2 lists, you have to specify the id of those lists in the field 'list id' in your module configuration (for example : 1,4).
After that, depending on the fact that you show or hide the lists, the user will be automatically subscribe to a list or will have the option to subscribe or not.
3/ With Community Builder : The plugin with CB works the same way that the module. You have a field 'list id' where you can specify which lists the user will be subscribed to.
