I need the same, but I user community builder and want subscription to be done at registration.
So site A has two sub sites B and C. Users should register on any of the sites.
There is CB user sync between all sites. This syncs the jos_users and jos_comprofiler tables. So if user registers on site C, the tables in A and B are updated and user can of course login.
Neither of these table holds information about mailing lists or users subscription status to the lists.
Since we only have once instance of aca installed and that is on the main site, we cannot show list subscriptions at registration on sites B and C.
We further are not able to add such subscription from site B or C registration as we would not have a user record to link the subscription with until the CB sync bot has done its work.
Installing aca on A B and C is also not an option as we then would not have ability to sync the users subscription state across databases.
Is there a solution?
If not, perhaps a suggestion for development.
