Greetings,

Apparently my smartnewsletter are not working properly.

I have setup a daily list and smartnewsletter.

I have enter content in Joomla that will be publish on a daily basis. So I thought it should send out the newsletters everyday with the latest published content. Isn't it what it is supposed to do?

At first I thought that my Cronjob didn't work, however even if I click on "Process Queue" it doesn't send the newsletters. It did send the first time, but I've been trying to make this work for a few days and it is not working.

Please help!

Hi,

your smart newsletter will be sent only if you have new articles in selected section/category. If you didn't make new articles there won't be anything to send

Dear Mihha,

As I said I have entered content in Joomla which is published each one on a daily basis. Everyday a new one, even the created date is in the future. How come it does not send the newsletter automatic?

Aparently, I am suffering the same problem.

I.ve followed your documentation for testing Smartnewsletter. Everything works just fine, up until Process Queue creates a new mailing for the smartnewslwetter. But when I trid to send my smartnewsletter, by click "Process Queue" it does not send anything.

Any ifnromation for what might be happening here?

Hi,

can you check by running this SQL code if you have some mailings in your sending queue?

Code:

SELECT COUNT(*) FROM jos_acajoom_queue WHERE mailing_id >0;

I´ve just teste the SQL code:
SELECT COUNT(*) FROM jos_acajoom_queue WHERE mailing_id >0

In return I got this:
COUNT(*)
18318

What does it mean?

Is this the explanation for the crontab task not to execute the send mail?

It seems it schedules OK the smartnewsletter. But it does not send it to the defined list of subscribers.

I can add that for the records related with my smartnewsletters scheduled for &712/2008 and 7/12/2008 (te ones I ve been testing) the ifnromation on the acajoom_queue table comes as follows:

Hi guys,

I would suggest that you empty your sending queues and try to send again. Before sending check your subscribers email addresses. If some of them provided non valid email address that can cause the sending process to stop.

To empty my sending queue should I do it directly deleting all records on the SQL acajoom_queue table?

Mihha,

After I've emptied my sending queue the smartnewsletter created a new newsletter, which is supposed to do, however it didn't send it.

Have I done something wrong?

2. did you create cron job for your site as described in our documentation

The Cron Job is setup at Joobi, as described in your documentation.

Hi,

can you check your time zone setup in Joomla configuration. The time that Acajoom shows in Acajoom panle and the one that shows in new newsletter date text filed should match. If not, please adjust time zone options so they do
