Design help. . .

I really like acajoom - found my way arond it quite quickly and am producing results that I'm happy with.

What I'd like to see on here though is perhaps a 'design' discussion area to help people get the most out of their newsletters.  In my own specific case I'm happy with what I'm producing BUT I'd be even happier if I could find a way to fill the outside colums of the template with a graduated tone allowing it to blend as it were.  I've tried (unsuccessfully so far) to get a background image to stretch the full height of the column but frankly I'm stumped.  If anyone can shed any light I'd be grateful.

Cheers

Re: Design help. . .

Hi,

Acajoom uses pure HTML for it's templates. This enables you to use some full flagged HTML editor (like Dreamveawer) to design your templates and integrate them in Acajoom

Hi,

Does it mean, we can't do the template with dreamweaver and copy/past into Accajoom/Template ?

Like I just said in my previous post, you CAN do template with Dreamweaver and copy paste it in Acajoom

Re: Design help. . .

oh excuse me if I posted so quickly.

In fact, i tasted to send a newsletter that i created with dreamweaver, i have any problems with my CSS but i read topics about it ...

But when i used the same template for my SmartNewsletter, it did not work. I received the generic Acajom Smart Newsletter, is it normal ?

Re: Design help. . .

No, this is not normal. You have to change template in list configuration and delete already defined smart newsletter and create new one

Re: Design help. . .

That's great thanks - I had hoped to be able to take care of it within the module, but that will be more than fine thanks.

As I said though, it would be good to maybe share examples and tips and tricks through the forums..?  Think on guys.
