I use Acajoom newsletter 3.0.7 with joomla 1.5.7

For some reasons I could not figure out first, when I installed Acajoom newsletter, the content item chooser was not displayed in the back-end when composing a newsletter.

And when entering manually the {contentitem:xx|xx}, it was not replacing by the actual content articles.

Finally, I discovered that the Acajoom plugin was not declared in the database. I have had to manually add it with phpmyadmin, with values from the php source code.

Now, it works fine. The exact reason why it was not properly installed initially ? Not sure, I suspect because my ISP disables some PHP functions (chmod, chown, file deletion) which could have triggered an exception while installing Acajoom plugin. May be...
